- Three blank tickets or cards
- A green pencil
The ritual
- Wash and dry the cloth before use. Place one written fact on each slip and stack them from easiest to hardest to face. Arrange the workspace specifically for this fortune, removing anything that will not be used.
- Write ASK, NOTICE, and ARRIVE on the cards, then shuffle them beneath the ritual object. Keep this question visible while you work: “What has been contained past the point of usefulness?”
- Fold the intention inside the cloth and tie two opposite corners together. Change the direction of a square of clean cloth without looking, then use its new orientation to choose where you will seek an opening.
