- A square of yellow cloth
- A ledger card and pencil
- A coin suitable for tossing
- A folded cloth
The ritual
- Wash and dry the coin, then place it on the yellow cloth in daylight. Use ordinary room light if direct sun would overheat the surface. Arrange the workspace specifically for this fortune, removing anything that will not be used.
