The charcoal gate
Blacken and close a gate through which conflict repeatedly enters.
What you’ll need
- A charcoal pencil
- A square of paper
- A white eraser
The ritual
- Draw an open gate and label the opening with the source of conflict.
- Shade the opening completely with charcoal.
- Draw a bar across the gate, then erase the path leading toward you.
- Fold the page closed and keep it near the real boundary you are enforcing.
