The cold-wax seal
Seal an unwelcome demand without flame, heat, or further negotiation.
What you’ll need
- Soft modeling beeswax
- A strip of paper
- A blunt coin
The ritual
- Write the demand on the paper and fold it away from you.
- Warm the beeswax in your hands and press it over the fold.
- Stamp the soft wax with the coin while saying, “The answer remains no.”
- Keep the seal intact as long as the demand continues, then reuse or compost the natural wax if suitable.
