Silence a signal used to summon you into the same unwanted role.
What you’ll need
- A clean whistle or symbolic paper whistle
- A square of cloth
- White thread
The ritual
- Name the role or demand whenever it calls you.
- Wrap the whistle completely in cloth so it cannot sound.
- Tie the cloth with white thread and say, “That signal no longer commands me.”
- Store it away while changing the habit or arrangement that kept answering the call.
