The paper chain of delay
Add one postponement after another to an unfair demand.
What you’ll need
- Seven paper strips
- Glue or tape
- A pencil
The ritual
- Write one reason for delay or review on each paper strip.
- Link the strips into a chain with the written sides facing inward.
- Hang the chain inside a cupboard and say, “Pass through every link before reaching me.”
- Remove one link only when each review, question, or safeguard has been completed.
