The rainwater scrying
Watch rain-made rings cross a dark bowl and follow the pattern that reaches you first.
What you’ll need
- Freshly collected rainwater
- A dark bowl
- A covered outdoor place
- A notebook
The ritual
- Set the bowl on a stable surface under shelter where occasional drops can reach it.
- Pour in the rainwater and ask what is arriving, leaving, or ready to change.
- Watch the rings for several minutes, noting where they begin, overlap, and fade.
- Move indoors and draw the strongest pattern from memory. Add the words or images it brings to mind.
