The wax seal of no return
Seal a finished conflict so its old terms cannot quietly re-enter your life.
What you’ll need
- An envelope
- Paper and pencil
- A wax seal sticker or ordinary sticker
The ritual
- Write what has ended and the date on a sheet of paper.
- List three conditions that would have to change before you reconsider the matter.
- Fold the page away from you and place it inside the envelope.
- Seal it with the sticker, write “Closed under these terms” across the flap, and store it out of sight.
