The blood-signature vow
Fix a private promise to the body that must carry it into action.
What you’ll need
- One drop of your own blood already available from routine medical testing or menstruation
- A cotton swab
- A written vow
- A small envelope
The ritual
- Write one promise that depends entirely on your own conduct and sign it normally.
- Use the cotton swab to place a single blood mark beside the signature without touching shared surfaces.
- Let the mark dry completely while reading the vow once aloud.
- Seal the page in the envelope, discard the swab in a sealed bag, and open the vow on the date you set.
