The red-thread tripwire
Reveal when someone crosses a limit they have already been shown.
What you’ll need
- Red thread
- Two small stones
- A paper label
The ritual
- Write the boundary on the label and place it between the stones.
- Stretch the red thread from one stone to the other over the label.
- Say, “The crossing shows itself,” and knot both ends.
- Keep the arrangement somewhere private while recording any further boundary violations clearly.
